oh another “Vikings” fan? I´m in for S6E5
got this album recommended by my best buddy, as I visited him to show off my fresh Elegia in summer.
He did not watch Vikings - funny he knew the album
I started watching Vikings long after I already knew about Fever Ray.
I don’t have cable or satellite TV. I cut the cord long ago. If it’s not on Netflix or Prime, chances are I’m not watching it.
we also stopped with “linear” tv as it’s so rare something fits our interests
with Sky, Netflix, Amazon and joyn we are fine
Another album I listened to like crazy in the mid-late 2000s
To all you drummers out there;
RIP Neil Peart - a legend in the world of drumming.
Man… for whatever reason…this weeks Spotify discovery and release radar sucked… not a single song I was digging on really… goes and kicks rocks

I’ve been taking the time to like and “go away” my discover songs and it’s made my list better.
This really bummed me out. Going to go listen to YYZ a few hundred times now.
As a friend of mine wrote, I hope he’s aboard his Rosinante bound for Cygnus X1
So much about this album is pretty spectacular. Recorded and mastered really well, good song writing, and jack’s voice is just so soothing.
And he’s genuinely a good person.
For the past couple of years, we’ve had an informal weekly Friday Spotify playlist at my office a few of us are into. Someone sends out a theme a days or two in advance and everyone can contribute up to 10 tracks. (I usually work on a Tidal list in Audirvana for listening for myself, then make a Spotify version for sharing.) Themes have been about specific instruments, holidays, news events, plants, space, colors, etc. this week was favorite songs from 2019

I’ve been on an Eric Clapton listening session the last couple days.
Really dig his collab with BB King.
Are you a blues fan generally speaking?
Riding with the King? That one is epic
I listen to a lot of genres and depends on my moods. I like blues but my main listens are indie, new wave, 90s-00s rock, country/bluegrass/folk, post-rock, jazz and electropop.
@ProfFalkin yes!
This just came on, speaking of New Wave.
Thats one of my fav joy division and all time songs in general.
New Order/Joy Division <3
Same here. Good stuff.
@TylersEclectic I saw those guys (Stars) in LA a dozen years ago with a friend - I had no idea who they were but was a great show.
