What music have you been listening to this past week?

This playlist has been pretty fun this evening paired with Aeon2C, iFi IDSD Micro Black Label, on Turbo via my comfy new Stressless chair. Some electronic goodies.

I fell back into a portal to 2010 this weekend and binged LCD Soundsystem:

My favourite:

The best track off the album they put out after they said it was over and made us all cry:

Dude, it took me a while, but I pretty much love that whole album. A few songs grew on me while I was playing the track Bright Lights over and over again.

For me this AM’s commute was Grateful Dead soundboard recording from 1968 of Pigpen singing “Turn on Your Love Light” from The Fillmore West in San Francisco. Very bluesy vocal and intense guitar.

That’s a good song, but a little sad in a “Landslide” sort of way.

I can’t believe this dude is only 21. Grab your favorite vocal focused headphones and maybe tube amp and give this a listen. I want to listen via my 6XX but daughter is sleeping, so AEON2C and THXamp pretty magical sounding vocals. I am loving Qobuz so much I am being introduced to so many new artists I traditionally wouldn’t have found on AmazonMusicHD…

Edit: Also really cool if you like acoustic and string instruments.

Nice find.

I’m getting an Erykah Badu vibe on first listen. When I’m unaware that I’m bobbing my head to the beat, that’s always a good sign.
