Pendant and Black Widow 2
Thank you for sharing
“Tea For The Tillerman (Remastered)” by Yusuf / Cat Stevens
Great Album MR! A nice listen
No matter what happens this year with all of its crazy ups and downs I keep coming back to this album as it continues to speak to me and reminds me to push forward, chin up and focus on what I can control! I hope it
Maybe brings some small joy to anyone else. Much Love Friends
Great album…
This week’s 70s playlist —
(Yes that’s the Turkey album cover song in there!)
Yeah, I think it was you that turned me on to that album a while back. Good stuff, Maynard!
Thanks for posting that I had that CD back in the 1990’s and for the life of me I couldn’t remember the composer or the album
now added to my library
Who’s Next is one of my top 5. Not a dud on the album. Even The Ox’s contribution is one of his best.
I actually just found it. Was reading a post about Rick Wright from Pink Floyd and he named it as one of his favorite albums
Beak >> (Beak 2)
It reminds me of Bauhaus, Joy Division, some eras of Swans, and Interpol so far. Moody atmospherics, droning, noise. Will explore more.
Friday playlist for work this week - 1960s:
Been on a bit of a youtube cover train of late.
Lauren Babic is an artist I’ve come across recently that just has insane vocal range. This is one of her more mellow tracks as she gravitates towards rock / metal more.
She does have a pair of 64 Audio A6ts though
This live performance of Drown by Bring Me The Horizion is probably my favourite performance from them. I always appreciate when heavier bands but thought into how they sound.
On the EDM side of things, if anyone if familiar with Krewella this acoustic cover of “Alive” is fantastic
And to end it this Triple J performance from Halsey and Yungblood of Death Cab for Cutie’s “I Will Follow You Into The Dark”
That cover of “Alive” is really good and it was quite unexpected to see Keanu Reeves playing guitar along with it.
