Phish 8/6/98 Atlanta GA, Lakewood Amphitheater. Great show. Began my stint of seeing Phish sober. From my first show in 98 til 2021, I had stayed sober. 2021 was off the chain. Anyways, the 1998 show was fun. I took a taxi from an hour away. I met up with my friends, who were all waist deep in a mushroom trip. Phish is still the best band playing, for my money.

J Geils Band at Brockton ( MA ) HS Auditorium in September 1970. Great first concert at age 17. Magic D sure could wail on the mouth harp!
Cant remember which was first, but they were both in 1975. Deep Purple and Grand Funk Railroad, at the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh.

I miss the Civic Arena. Although the sound was better at the Syria Mosque. Big bands at the Arena back then. Tull, Pink Floyd.

Vague recollection of being taken to see The Nutcracker at Covent Garden by my parents when I was about 5 or 6, so about 1968 or 1969. Remember getting vertigo leaning over the balcony. Was a Christmas treat and the end of their input into my musical life.
About 5,000+ gigs later, from Genesis with PG around 1975, Elton Jon Drury Lane in 1979 was extraordinary, The Wall at Earls Court, to Live Aid via the Berlin Philharmonic, thousands of classical concerts, lots of jazz and hundreds of ballets, dance and operas (married a ballet dancer), have tickets for the Nutcracker at Covent Garden on 22 November, and much better seats than my parents got us.
