That is indeed a Rebelamp on my desk. I’ve had it there for about a week now. Really enjoying it. Sleek. Definitely not small. Wish there was a balanced output on it but it is great so far. Quite impressed with it.

Looking to do a Rebelamp vs Topping A90 vs SPL Phonitor One comparison in the near future. @TylersEclectic has our A90 and the Phonitor One should be arriving in a week or two!

Yep, Zeos praised a lot for this amp. Being a truly Class A’ish and stuff.

I suspect it’s very good for high-Z dynamic drivers. E.g.: HD (6/8)XX series.

Schiit fanboys may want to compare the “Green Goblin” against Asgard 3. RNHP would be another comparison in the same price bracket.

Thanks for the measurements, I just got the Planar yesterday and am really enjoying it. I’m not sure if I like it more or less than the Hifiman Sundara, but it’s very good. How are you liking it now that you have some more time with it?

I ended up returning it because I was expecting something more neutral/reference tuned based on the marketing material, so I don’t have much to add in terms of impressions. I think if I were looking for a more budget friendly LCD2C kind of sound, it would be a good option. My personal tuning preferences lately lean towards something a bit less midrangey, but the Planar seems like a really solid counterpoint/complement to the typically bright Hifiman tuning.

I’d almost lost hope of ever hearing about how the Phonitor One performs! I have my eye on the SE also but I need to confirm with SPL/an owner that they sorted out their issues with the amp shorting seeing as there’s no XLR “workaround”.

I guess the same holds true for the One although there’s a relatively high output impedance and no off switch on the front that might indicate less risk - also no mention of having to take extra care in the manual.
