Great machine. I was very into this for some time but I’m mostly playing vinyl so at the moment I’ve decided to invest into a tube amp. I’ve tried the Zen Mini MKII at the store where I repair turntables and the sound is very good. Enjoy

I’ve been making some small upgrades lately, and I was really impressed with the Kimber Kable Select series I recently received. So much so that I’ve decided to switch out all of my analog interconnects to Kimber (all of my digital interconnects are already Kimber/Lifatec). I really liked Mogami, but the Kimber are just a better cable, imo. I now understand when people refer to Signal/Noise.
It’s all opinion, but I hear a difference and they look nice. Another cool thing was the unboxing which had some nice little personal touches.

Me too, my friend. I started with Kimber Timbre RCA’s, but when I got a DAVE, I figured it was worth upgrading to Kimber Hero. Sure enough, a bit cleaner, and a bit of a blacker background.

They’re really good. I have a pair of Hero XLR’s, but I’m gonna try the new Carbon series. Those are supposed to be really good. Some say similar to the Select series.

Two boxes in one day!
(1) This is a bit crazy / silly, but pre-emptively bought some nice BNC cables for a future M-Scaler purchase that is still a few months away. During my random browsing of US Audio Mart, just happened to spot a sweet deal on Audioquest Diamonds w/ factory-fitted BNC.
(2) TUBES! From Brent Jesse. Mullard 12AU7 and a pair of Amperex 6BQ5.

What amp are the tubes for?
With holes in it and some screws holding it together. It measures really well, in fact it has the 0 signal degradation and may have the best sinad measurements of any amp I’ve ever seen.
You need to mark the “jerking space bunny” NSFW … lol…

ZMF Pendant. Trying a bit more tube rolling as I try to make a decision on which stays and which goes (WA5-LE or Pendant).
