I like the Schiit Bifrost 2 with my Pendant. It’s a bargain in the US at $699, but not sure what it costs in the UK.
Since you’re already familiar with the RME, this is a really good comparison by @ProfFalkin of the RME ADI-2 vs the BF2, to give you an indication of how it sounds.
