I checked the spreadsheet and it says it sanding and finishing. Strange thing is I just ordered them.

Did anyone have the chance to compare the Chord Dave with the TT2 when using a Verite Closed or Open? 
I have the Hugo 2 setup with the Mscaler and I like it very much already. But I am also considering the remove the Hugo 2 to a transportable solution with a Chord 2 Go and get a Dave or TT2
Welp, today’s the day: I’m currently waiting on FedEx to arrive with my Verite order, which I placed back in mid-April. Nearly two months later my excitement has calmed down, which I figure is good as measured expectations should set me up to just enjoy the cans. I figure I’ll stick with the Universe pads for a bit and see how I adapt. In any case, there’s a lot of music listening coming up for me.

Congrats! It’s a great feeling the day a new piece of equipment comes in, especially something like a ZMF. Don’t forget to give them time to burn in before judging. The Verite drivers need an unusual amount of time to settle down. I remember out of the box thinking oh man, i just blew $2500! But after 50 hours i was a happy camper. What wood did you go with?

Thanks. Yeah I’ll keep the burn-in period in mind. I went with the stock silk wood, with brass grilles and black chassis. I’ll be running them from my Bifrost 2 and Asgard 3 stack.

I ordered the Bifrost 2 May 19th man. The backorder is eating away at me. Also have an Asgard 3. How you like this combo? Going to be an upgrade from the internal modi multibit card.

I got my Bifrost 2 back in, er, April I think? There was a backorder then, too, which kept me from ordering at first, but then when I did mine actually shipped sooner than the stated date, which was nice. As far as the combo, it’s been great. I also have a current-version Magni 3+/Modi 3 stack, and briefly had the Monoprice 887 amp. For me the Asgard 3 adds more low-end oomph over the Magni and has transient dynamics which were more muted on the 887. The BF2 adds a distinct sense of detail and precision over the Modi. Texture and placement just feel more confident if that makes sense. It’s not a HUGE difference over the Modi but it does add up during listening, like having your vision better-corrected.

Mid-april and you get it now… that is what I need to hear. I ordered an Eikon the 17th of April and I am still waiting now 8 weeks in. They should ship after 5-10 weeks, so hope is high

Congrats on the impeding arrival, I also ordered just after the middle of April and they are still in the Assembly phase. If you don’t mind me asking, how long ago did you receive the FedEx tracking information?
My excitement was high, then went into a lull when I accepted that it wold be a while before I got them on my head. Now this week my excitement has gone into overdrive, probably because my sixth sense feels them coming soon.

I got the shipping notice on Friday last week. There was a delay in FedEx picking them up from ZMF, however, due to the protests going on. Once they were picked up it was overnight service, so no real complaints there.
Initial listening (very initial!) and I’m already really impressed. The imaging precision and sense of three dimensionality is remarkable. Nothing sounds off so far, as in, everything is natural, though I haven’t really got to any female vocals or other timbral tell-tales just yet.
I can see where these will improve a bit from breaking in – there is a slightly restrained quality at the moment, if that’s the way to put it? – but otherwise coming from my HD6XXs, this is, without exaggerating too much, like going from a chamber quartet to a full symphony orchestra.

I ordered my BF2 a couple of days ago just to get in line. I read on another forum that they are close to getting some of the missing parts so perhaps the line up wont be too much longer.
