Fiona Apple’s The Idler Wheel. IMO the music on this album is equally unattractive.

Fiona, and “Hot Knife” is a particular favorite.
The cover is weird AF though. As is she.

I’ve also liked…not loved…Fiona since Criminal. That album cover…eek! I could put a Bjork album cover or several here, and I respect her too.
“Do you have the gumption to get past the cover?” Some artists are challenging us to put up with the art or go away. Maybe.

Uh oh, don’t go slandering Björk - that’s MY GIRL. My favorite artist of all time. Her covers are all very conceptual, distinctly related to the content of the albums they represent. But yeah, if you’re not deep into the content I can see how the image can be off-putting.
So, for this challenge I only searched albums I have favorited. So this is an album I love that has a really unpleasant cover image.
I LIVE FOR IT. 
I’ve seen her live in concert like 20 times. She is literally the greatest living artist, in a whole other league than any other musical artist still making music.
