Wow, I can see the headline on Audeze’s website: “Dynamic couldn’t think of a reason to return it”.
Congrats on finding a keeper. What’s next?

I know, right? I am such a pain in the ass. it does have a bit of channel imbalance that I hear on some music. But it’s not a deal breaker. It’s fine.
I don’t know what’s next. I don’t have a use case that remains unfilled. The Mobius and the Zen cover everything I do with headphones very well.
My only issue is sometimes I can’t tolerate the Zen in my ears for very long. But, at least the lcd-xc, had too much sound leakage for the times when I am using the Zen. Unless I can find a closed back with far better isolation, I don’t know what to do about that.
So, on the returning it front, I still haven’t. And I doubt I will. If for no other reason that their value to what you get ratio is off the charts good. I think these guys have supplanted the blessing 2 dusk and sundara in value for me. (that’s a very high bar by my standard)
But, the imbalance feels more like a fit thing. As over ears I kind of just throw them on and start. Then one day I noticed that sound isolation was better on one side than the other when I forgot to play music. So the answer became to wiggle them after putting them on. When I do that, the imbalance seems to be entirely gone. And that is flat out awesome. I think my ears need to be fully enclosed in the pads, which means the pads touch the edges of my ears. If that edge is lifting the pad at all I get an imbalance.
I am likely sending my dunu zen out to mold custom iem ear tips of my ears on to them. I will need the mobius to be my primary headset for the time they are gone. And, it appears to be up to that challenge.
The mobius has grown on me more and more. It’s just so practical and the sound stands at “good enough”.
Hi…
I’m on my 2nd Mobius headphones. Both had issues where they just randomly power off (voice says power off) WHILE I’m playing games or listening to music etc. This has to be some driver issue regarding “power save” or something. Like maybe it thinks Im not using them even tho I am?
Like it happens maybe once a week or so… But its super annoying because some games crashes because of it (I’m guessing because the audio device selected randomly disappears)…
I’m on Windows 10. Latest firmware/updates etc…
Any solutions? (I wrote a message to Audeze support)
