They replaced my (considerably more fragile and recently repaired) TH-X00 PH (now modded into a TR-X00 EB) at work. Similar feelings as @generic - I’d never use them for critical listening. Unlike my IEMs they send a clear message to go bother someone else and the comfort and isolation matter quite a bit. The case and spare pads come in handy as well.
