Saw the show this morning at 1.25x, Elegia brothers.
You and @DEXCOM7 talked about car audio at some point. A decent car audio system will give you massive stage, detail and punch.
Is there any headphone that could recreate a similar environment, punch/slam wise? Forget about stage for now – sound reflections, etc… – and focus in the bass.

The closest I’ve heard is the Verite Closed, but another interesting one to try would be the Audeze Mobius…
Like having subwoofers close to the ears?

@TylersEclectic those are both great choices for different reasons.
The excursion of a closed dynamic produces powerful, deep bass along with great staging. In essence, a well designed speaker enclosure.
The Mobius offers planar bass with the addition of DSP. A more modern approach.
I think the VC would be similar to a Alpine head unit paired with a Morel amp/speakers combination, where the Mobius is like an Audison based system. Both can sound fantastic, it’s more a matter of preference.
