Yeah definitely. Itā€™s tough with DAC reviews because I can only really give my subjective impressions of the sound, but yeah to me it sounds amazing.

Awesome! Really looking forward to it.

Also, something worth looking into if itā€™s gonna stick around (:grin:) is the I2S connection via the X-SPDIF 2. From everything that Iā€™ve read itā€™s an even better experience, as the run synchronized.

It would also allow you to run multiple DACs off of the one usb (Iā€™m using it in this manner, still saving for the X-Sabre).

Interesting little device. I was having a look in the user guide (RTFM). 1 USB input and a few different digital output options.

Iā€™m also a fan of digital outputs and let different DACs handle this data. Iā€™m currently using a cheapā€™o FiiO K3 for this matter (2 digital outs only).

Looks like an upgrade path moving forward. Hereā€™s a RME alternative for TOSLINK fans.
