Just ran across a “Best New Electronic Music” article on Bandcamp.
Better late than never…
Hope you guys/gals enjoy, and maybe find something new to add to your collection.
Popping in here with a few more!
I used to be really into vocal trance when I was younger and I got away from it for a while but some tracks have slowly started creeping back into my playlists.
Can’t believe that this hasn’t been mentioned! This is like my favorite electronic album.
Synergy - Sequencer by Larry Fast 1976 was my first intro to Electronic music.
I also really like Jean Michelle Jarre’s early works (Oxygene and Equinox)
Don’t know how I missed this. Was browsing ROON’s text on Frank Zappa, and they mentioned Jazz from Hell, (1986) which is an all solo effort by Zappa on the Synclavier (Except for St. Etienne) . It even got a Grammy.
Not bad at all. Some of it is familiar, re-worked from earlier material (While You Were Art II), but I really like “G-Spot Tornado”
I love the remix album Daft Punk did for the Tron Legacy soundtrack:
Alas I can’t find it in hi res (at least not on Tidal).
in 1994 my wife and I have been on the [“Love parade”] in Berlin
in 1995 we attended the Union Move in Munich
in the mid 90s we where at “pulverturm” a munich techno institution on most sundays for the after hours on the parking space
- we met 1997
- what was cool, cause in the early/mid 90s people wore terrible clothes, strange haircuts and danced their sweaty a… off
here is a modern set, I enjoyed a bit a few months ago - however not my prefered genre
That’s been a favorite of mine for years, Glitch Mob
Posted about this in what you have been listening to thread, but thought I would share here too. Electronic classics playlist via Qobuz!
This playlist has been pretty fun this evening paired with Aeon2C, iFi IDSD Micro Black Label, on Turbo via my comfy new Stressless chair. Some electronic goodies.

Some CD Quality tracks and some crazy sounding HI RES tracks trippy as F.
Couldn’t find this album on Qobuz…but it is a fun listen…and a really fun game! played through it a couple times on the Switch!
Checking out some newly released music on Qobuz.
Current Listen: Seeking Thrills, Georgia via Qobuz 24/44.1 through Audioirvana
Some of the tracks are really treble bright and a bit much. Some interesting music production, the jury is still out on this album. Treble might be just too fatiguing for me on a 3rd of the tracks.
A couple fun ones, from a band I just found out about.
Weval - The Battle
Weval - Intro
Weval - I Dont Need It
Tidal HiFi > Gungnir Multibit > Liquid Platinum> ZMF Aeolus >
These songs will blow your mind, listening with good headphones. Here is some Max Cooper, for your Monday morning.
Enjoy!
