Right. I was going to switch back to the ADI-2 Pro FS, but the ADI-2 DAC w/ AK4493 was announced. It’s available overseas right now but not in the US. If they decide to launch an ADI-2 Pro w/ AK4493 before the new DAC comes out here, I’ll wait a bit for it. I’m guessing they won’t just yet since the Pro FS is still pretty recent.

Yeah, that makes sense! for me it isn’t enough of a jump in quality (based on Specs only) for me to have major upgraditis yet =)

But, if I decide I “need” another DAC I will just buy the new one then =)

Do they make dope keyboard setups like you see on drop but for MAC OS X I haven’t really looked into it but I hate my keyboard it’s the one that came with my iMac lol!

Loving all these setups I need to take some pics and upload a few photo of my photo/video editing, music listening battle station/office!!

You can get keycaps and swap them out… but I usually just remember where the Mac specific keys are… I hot swap between my Mac mini and gaming PC with my Kira keyboard

@MRHifiReviews here you can see the USB-C cables that go to my gaming PC and my MacMini (2018). Also I hot swap my monitor the same way. I tried switchers but they degraded the quality and were buggy, or were too expensive, when considering how not that much a pain in the rear my solution is. I run a AMD Vega64 GPU in an external enclosure to my MacMini for any “hardcore” needs… honestly never really needed it so far and it’s a lil overkill… but maybe if I finally get to doing video for YouTube and fun I’ll utilize it!

Here is my current messy setup…gpu enclosure for Mac on top of my gaming rig, MacMini on desk… don’t mind the Schiit stack lol that is the Bifrost2 DAC and pre-Production Jotunheim R amp for my RAAL ST1a

I have, I think 6 or 7 Logitech wired illuminated keyboards, including one on my Mac Mini. While some of the Drop mechanicals look good, I just found a good $59 or so keyboard with nice spacing and excellent touch and stuck with it - probably for 15 years now.

I used to like WICO keyboards and IBM Selectric Mark II or IBM compositor keyboards.

Looks great! I wonder how much sound @dbstechtalk the treatments you placed on your walls absorb? My daughters room is right next to my office, that could be another solution to help.

Let me look into them!!

Matias makes mechanical keyboards specifically for Mac

I would say not much is absorbed by the wall treatment. It is literally about as thick as an egg carton. It is the cheapest but best looking I could find on Amazon. I highly doubt it is very effective.

I use products from Audimute https://www.audimute.com/ and have been happy with them. Can be pricey though, but lots of options including custom pieces. First I would play the music at the level you normally listen and see how loud it is in your daughters room, as it may be a non issue, though if it is an Issue then there are several options.
Hope this helps.

I think I got a contact high…

That’s a sweet setup. I can see by the vibe of your listening area that the Bifrost is probably the perfect choice!

Haha thanks man! Bifrost and Lyr are right next to the kick back chair.
