I also have a triforce tattooed on my leg that I did myself when I was in Thailand at 18. I wasn’t allowed to own any consoles until I was 18 so I have been making it up ever since then.
@Resolve I was thinking of building a new PC at the end of summer. I’ve got my eyes on the 2080ti to go along with the LCD-GX is it isn’t ridiculously heavy.

Something I find interesting and maybe other booze collectors can corroborate, but I think that Audiophiles, Wine enthusiasts, and Whiskey enthusiasts have a lot in common! @Torq I know you are a collector of all things fine thoughts?
My epiphany is that with Whiskey (and I’m assuming wine) you try and find all the nuances and intricacies of what you’re tasting. While Audiophiles are doing the same thing only with their ears. The pursuit of the that wow taste, or wow moment listening. People go to great lengths for both. Booze: special glasses and storage, how you pour, etc. Audiophiles are headphones, speakers, amps, DACs etc.
Plus there are levels to both hobbies, such as lower tier gear and quality for an audiophile, and lower tier and quality booze, all the way to astronomical prices for rare and amazing.
A true appreciation for subjective things such as ones tasting of booze, to ones hearing of music through different gear.
For me, these two things are pretty awesome and I love the nuance and crazy pairings and constant change/upheaval that comes with new batches, new gear! Such wow! and fun to be had by all at all levels.

Not saying that there aren’t nuances. There are. But with drink, the mood and/or the company are the music. And I really don’t like too much high end. Don’t want to listen to Beatles, and drink so much the room does a Revolver.

Yeah, I have a buddy that can’t do alcohol except beer as it wreaks havoc on his blood sugar and gives him massive hangovers and migraines…poor bloody bastard! So much goodness in some whiskey
