I fixed it for you…
Haha no I never owned either of those. Honestly I never owned a console before.
This needs to be remedied…not the console owning but some serious awesome fun 8bit and 16bit games are to be had!
I may be biased though:
One of my favourite GIFs from one of my favourite bands!
I’ll add you on XB live in the morning. Currently helping the wife with groceries since I was having “work drinks”.
I also have a triforce tattooed on my leg that I did myself when I was in Thailand at 18. I wasn’t allowed to own any consoles until I was 18 so I have been making it up ever since then.
@Resolve I was thinking of building a new PC at the end of summer. I’ve got my eyes on the 2080ti to go along with the LCD-GX is it isn’t ridiculously heavy.
… and on that bombshell…buenos nachos! @Resolve I’ll have to get your steam/blizz/etc tags @taronlissimore we should get some Switch on also!
Good movie Mandy but a little weird at time. Enjoyed it though.
Snes now that was a console. So many great games. Zelda: Links Awakening, Super Mario World, to name but two.
I see you are a man of culture also! #respect
Round 2: Old fashions are on the plate tonight
Trying to impart some ZMF Aeolus goodness into my spirits
Something I find interesting and maybe other booze collectors can corroborate, but I think that Audiophiles, Wine enthusiasts, and Whiskey enthusiasts have a lot in common! @Torq I know you are a collector of all things fine thoughts?
My epiphany is that with Whiskey (and I’m assuming wine) you try and find all the nuances and intricacies of what you’re tasting. While Audiophiles are doing the same thing only with their ears. The pursuit of the that wow taste, or wow moment listening. People go to great lengths for both. Booze: special glasses and storage, how you pour, etc. Audiophiles are headphones, speakers, amps, DACs etc.
Plus there are levels to both hobbies, such as lower tier gear and quality for an audiophile, and lower tier and quality booze, all the way to astronomical prices for rare and amazing.
A true appreciation for subjective things such as ones tasting of booze, to ones hearing of music through different gear.
For me, these two things are pretty awesome and I love the nuance and crazy pairings and constant change/upheaval that comes with new batches, new gear! Such wow! and fun to be had by all at all levels.
Cheers, and good listening to all
Yeah, right. Nuances.
Pour
Drink
Repeat
Not saying that there aren’t nuances. There are. But with drink, the mood and/or the company are the music. And I really don’t like too much high end. Don’t want to listen to Beatles, and drink so much the room does a Revolver.
Another befuddled but sober thought from Pennstac.
Hmm…a new pairing maybe…from Germany and France?
a little unboxing action…
I’m scared…

What have I done…
Eeeeh, That stuff isn’t even 90 proof…wink wink
Or is it 89.9% alcohol???
The correct answer lol!
Yikes…
Unfortunately it isn’t good for me. Not the alcohol or wormwood. The damn sugar cubes.
Yeah, I have a buddy that can’t do alcohol except beer as it wreaks havoc on his blood sugar and gives him massive hangovers and migraines…poor bloody bastard! So much goodness in some whiskey
For all teetotalers, perhaps try milk and The Milk-Eyed Mender:
Joanna Newsom is for real and this is her landmark album. You will likely either chuckle or hate this one.
Just a reminder that tomorrow is “Ardbeg Day”! Latest limited release, “Drum” (Dram+Rum), will be out in most CDN provinces tomorrow (you Americans get everything early).
I’ve had a sample, and it pairs particularly well with Harry Belafonte.
