Welcome to this weeks new members.
Thanks for the welcome! Been lurking here awhile but am active on head-fi. Got into headphones about 2 years ago with the 6XX and rapidly moved onto higher end Sennheisers and then ZMFs. Iāve been collecting the ZMFs, now only missing an Eikon. There are no audio stores I can get to without getting on a plane, so everything is a blind buy, highly dependent on info from forums such as this one. The ZMF threads here have been amazing resources.
ZMF are some of the most pleasant sounding dynamic driver headphones out there. Love the Aeolus and Atticus on tubes! Welcome to the community. Zach himself has commented a few times here, and some of the core team members of the forums host livestreams with him and Bevin. Check out the most recent one to see a tour of the new workshop. Zach has a killer coffee set up btw.

Thanks prffallon69 for the welcome! ābogginheadā has been my single screen name since I was about 15-16 (Iām a ripe 'ol 37 nowadays, lol). Look forward to discussing some great gear here with you guys
Hello!! Iām lookin at getting into the headphone world, have always enjoyed music on big speakers but with more people at home now Iād like to make my music listening a little more personal! Been eying the Audeze LCD-2 but havent quite decided yet! Would love help from anyone!
The LCD-2 are open back headphones so they will leak sound. If you want to avoid other people hearing your music then youāll need a closed back headphone.
I noticed that, since I have not had any experience with open back, I wasnt sure how loud it was going to be. Some noise leak is fine but if it is too loud then I might have to reconsider. Basically as long as it wont be heard outside of a room then it wont be an issue
Hello and welcome @WoundedAudiophile, @Alex1234, @Twinski and @undulationer.
Welcome to all of you new folks. Please post something here so we may learn a bit about you. @WoundedAudiophile is a great name, it conjures up an injury to the wallet. If so, you will find company, but no 10 step programs here.
Hi there! Sorry Iām a bit late replying to this, but Iām still trying to get the hang of it all. I live in San Francisco and have started putting a headphone system together. Iāve got Meze Emperean cans, a Hugo 2 that I use for the DAC, and both a Lyr 3 and an iFi ICAN headphone amps.
Thatās a sounding system. Congratulations. Nice to have you around. Enjoy.
Hello and welcome @pyrexia, thatās a really hot name

Hello and welcome @Hudo.
Welcome to this weeks new members, Enjoy ![]()
Uh, hello. Iām Pandemonium and Iām from Virginia. Iāve been an audiophile for about 5 years. Iāve owned many top tier headphones but my favorites are still the Vintage OG Stax Lambda Professionals. New Stax just arenāt the same. (even if they are technically better) Nice to meet you!
Hello and welcome @lohbol.
Hello and welcome @audacious1 and @fred3.
