Hello. A few tidbits. I am a lifelong audio fan who has always been interested in headphone/ ‘personal’ audio and have been virtually 100% headphones (I do have a small Bluetooth speaker for casual listening) since downsizing some years ago. My current sets are Etymotic ER4XR IEMs and Beyer Amiron Home. I have owned Sennheiser HD414, 424, 485, 580 and 650. Amp is JDS Labs Atom. DAC SMSL Sanskrit II. I feel like I am getting champagne sound on a cheap-beer budget from my current system (I also hang on Audio Science Review and note that many megabuck cans test no better there-and sometimes worse- than more modestly priced kit.) Looking forward to hanging out here.

Thanks for having me here, looking forward to being an active member of the community.
I’m holding it down for Brooklyn, NY… and while I absolutely love it here, all the street noise that comes from living in the city has driven me to mostly closed-back solutions. Right now my current chain is:
Tidal > RME ADI 2 fs > Mogwai SE (w/ Jupiter Caps) > Verite Closed Stabilized | LCD 2-CB
Headphones that I really want to try and maybe own one day: Eikon, Susvara, HD800s.
Amps that I really want to try and maybe own one day: Sparkos Aries, Gs-x Mini, any of the ECPs…
Sources that I really want to try and maybe own one day: yggy, sonnet morpheus, lampizator
My Mogwai arrives this Friday so I’ll make sure to post a good picture of the full setup once it’s all in place! I am new to tubes and excited to explore tube rolling and figuring out what sound is best for my listening.

Hi All, thanks for having me!
I recently abandoned (gave away) my vintage Carver, Cal Audio, Snell setup for a Sennheiser HDV 820 and 800S combo. Also in the system, and Audiolab 6000CDT transport and TASCAM SS-CDR250N media recorder.
Appreciate all the great thoughts I’ve read here.
