What @prfallon69 said. Welcome from me too.
Hello All,
I joined here about a week ago and have enjoyed looking through the forum. Looks like a lot of experienced and knowledgeable folks about audio equipment. I only started putting my toe into the higher-end audio āpoolā last year after attending AXPONA here in the Chicago area (and looking forward to going to it again in a few months). I picked up the Focal Elegia and iFi xDSD at the show and have enjoyed them tremendously. Iāve always enjoyed listening to well crafted, great sounding music and learning a lot about all of the different options. Look forward to continuing my education here on the site.
Thanks,
Matt

Hello and welcome @mla7.
welcome Matt!
a nice setup you use
how is AXPONA? is it like many litle rooms in a hotel or a few larger halls?
Been lurking in the Heddphone and Raal Sr1a threads for a bit.
Been a dedicated headphone listener for a while, ever since my Dahlquist Dq10s developed a buzz.
For me, variety is important. I start the day (Iām retired) at Starbucks with the ANC Nuraphones, (Bluetooth) then at the library with Fiio FH7 (Chord Mojo). At home I alternate weekly between the Hifiman Edition x and LCD XC (Schitt Lyr 3). The differences between marginal, (ANC Bluetooth) and āOKā (the Audeze) keeps my listening fresh.
I vicariously caught the Sr1a bug, and as soon as the Schiit Jotunheim R is released, presumably in a week or 2, will likely spend some outrageous money.
Listen mostly to IDAGIO, classical streaming. I canāt really do speakers at home, my wife and I have a āquietā agreement, and the one thing about headphones that make me wish for speakers is that the soundstage is in my head, not out front where it belongs. Hopefully the Sr1aās will at least move it in the right direction a bit.
Welcome, Tim.
It sounds like youāre on the right track with the Sr1aās. From what everyone has said, itās a āgame changerā.
Glad you dove into participating.
Enjoy the forum!

Welcome @GuyForkes!
I agree @TylersEclectic Tyler. Welcome to all the new people. I donāt know if I will be able to break free next month, but Iām very tempted to hop the early Amtrak into NYC to have a few hours at least of CanJam.
