Hello everybody, after 25 years of (intermittent) 2 channel listening and live concert (mostly classical) attendance, I have discovered the beauty of high end headphones a few years ago.
Since then (it was the venerable HD800) I started a very enjoyable journey into head-fi gear, helped by many fellow enthusiasts on various forums, during personal meetings, in-shop listening events etc. Audiophile community can be a lot of fun!
I have listened to music everyday of my life since I remember, music is a form of emotional life aid for me.
That said, I admit I am a bit of a gear-lover as well … although I try to keep my obsession about upgrading my gear and tweaking my rig under control (with limited success).
