Welcome on board. I’m sure you’ll learn a lot of things.
Same shoes here. I’ve created my account less than a week ago and already learned a lot of stuff. Not to mention already interacted with a few people as well.
The coolest part for me was finding specific threads on the gear I have keeping an eye on. So far so good. 
It’s like opening the Pandora’s box (in a good way). Or just entering the ultimate rabbit hole.

Very nice. Add two parts brandy, a dash of bitters and stir gently! My wife grew up in New Hampshire along that tiny strip of coast. Hampton Beach. Her Dad was in the 509th at Pease.
