thanks for the welcome. i love music, all kinds. from metal to country and everything in between. rock, pop, singer songwriter, country. lately my favorite is lucy spraggan.

i really appreciate good sounding music. i have a signed neil young pono player but don’t really use it. i just received the ifi audio hip dac from headphones.com and it sounds so good. i also subscribed to tidal for the master quality.

my current headphones are the 1more triple drivers with comply tips. for some reason i seem to be allergic to over the ear headphones or any that wrap around my ears. i like the 1more’s although i’m on the hunt for an upgrade.

It’s nice to see someone mention the Bigger Ben, there are precious few impressions of it online - it would be great to read yours when you’ve settled into listening to it. I heard it at CanJam this past February, with an Yggy and Vérité Open. The whole setup was, in a word, glorious.

Also, it’s nice to see someone else who’s local - I work in NJ, when not under lockdown, that is. We should see how many local members there are in the NJ/NYC/Philly areas (I’m slightly jealous of all the Seattle/Wa meet ups!).

FedEx isn’t super consistent for me, but according to tracking I should have it delivered by Friday. I’ve been spending the past few days cleaning and rearranging my desk setup in anticipation. I’ve put off my cable “management” for so long now that it’s been way more of a nightmare than I imagined, but if I don’t bite the bullet and do it now I know I won’t ever do it once the amp arrives. At least I have a few more days to tackle it
