Hi everyone and thank you all for the warm welcome.

My name is James and I am from Brisbane, Australia. I have been into music, audio, and headphones for quite a while and love to talk with like-minded people about our love for those very things. I look forward to interacting with everyone on here and engaging in some useful discussions about this crazy hobby (according to all my friends and family) that we all share!

I have to say as well that I have found this forum to be the most positive, friendly, and constructive audio forum that I have been on so far. Well done for that!

Hey @metal571, do you know if the AKG k371 comes with a 6mm jack? I need it to plug into my guitar amp. Also, should I be buying open or closed back headphones for what I need?

Hey guys, my name is Rob and I’m making the most of my quarantine here in NJ. I’ve been a long time lurker here, as well as a customer, and I watch @Resolve’s youtube videos as soon as they post. I was happy in my midfi life until about two years ago, and I’ve gone a bit crazy since then. I own the full ZMF dynamic line aside from the Atticus and Verite Closed, several Audezes, Focals, and Empyreans. My preferred amp source is tubes, and I have an ampsandsound Bigger Ben en route to me as I write this. I know a few members here from a more entry level forum, and I’m looking forward to interacting with people that have the experience to give me advice at my current gear level without some of the negativity that seems pervasive elsewhere.

My current favorite headphones are the Eikons, and if you count them as iems, the lcd i4s. I own a lot of gear I have zero regrets on, and an equal amount of gear that I have > 0 regrets on, so hopefully you guys can help me improve that ratio. Glad to finally be a part of this community
