Friday morning feels… have a wonderful weekend
All of these are in my playlists. Good stuff
Had to add some Rocky soundtracks to get me moving… hah
I vaguely remember this…
This album fills me with so much joy.
Please, Christopher. Some things are better forgotten.
Haha!
That track predates me.
I recall one concert I went to - a horribly mis-matched set of performers. King Crimson was the headliner, and most of us that went to the concert were entirely 21st Century Schizoid Man fans. The warm up group were “Bread” and “Seals & Crofts”. I wonder who the numbskull was that put that start up with King Crimson.
Anyway, the student reviewer was a real goober. King Crimson was not happy that night, but it didn’t stop them from being angry and brilliant. Her headline the next day was “Seals & Crofts and Bread Outplay King Crimson”. She had no clue.
That’s a wild looking thing. I guess you stick the shiny thing in the music and it samples.
This is a fine song that’s even sweeter off of tubes.
I’m currently on my phone as always so cannot provide a link. But here goes. This week I watched an excellent BBC Four documentary about the late Peter Green called “Peter Green: Man of the World”. Really fascinating stuff and boy was he a talented chap. So I’ve obviously been delving into his back catalogue and really enjoying it. So do yourselves a favour and revisit this superb musician. I really like the ‘Man of the World’ song too. I have also been listening to the ‘Peter Green Studio Album’. Sorry for the rambling post but I just had to mention it.
I was actually just listening to his Anthology album the other day! I’ve never really sat and listened to his catalogue before. And what a treat! I wonder if anyone has ever seen him and Eric Clapton in the same room…the sonic resemblance is uncanny! Are we sure they’re not the same person? I’ll have to check out the documentary! Thank you for the share, Paul! -Phil
