Ted Lasso got me onto Cam Cole, loving the blues/rock vibes:
Thanks to some recommendations from @CrankyRat that lead me to this…
Listening on the Radiance on my dap while doing chores around the house. Fantastic
Let’s jump back to the 1990’s for new age at it’s finest!
Bust out your Grado’s and your favorite tube amp.
Kitaro and Caravansary.
Ha, thanks for that. I hadn’t discovered the Taboo soundtrack yet. Max is a prolific producer/composer of soundtracks. Always atmospheric and dramatic.
It’s weird, I like all the offshoots from Broken Social Scene, but I’ve never liked the BSS themselves. Not sure why.
I keep re-listening every couple of years because they’re legendary, but I don’t feel anything, not even dislike.
The idea of a collective is so interesting, but I sometimes wonder if it follows the model of corporate meetings.
(The highest a committee can achieve is always limited by the dumbest member.)
New Overwerk album! It’s fun.
Superconnected is a great, great song, my favorite on that album:
I like his stuff more than I thought I would. Will check this out. Thanks for sharing it.
Enjoying my new LCD-2’s
“Liberty” and “Under the Tallest Tree” might be my favourites from this album.
Came up while playing Roon radio. New artist to me… fans of GoGo Penguin and the likes should like this.
@PaisleyUnderground - I saw BSS in concert once in LA. There were really a lot of people up on that stage.
I think every Canadian indie rock star that isn’t in New Pornographers must be in BSS. I’m surprised the stage didn’t collapse.
Nickleback still hasn’t been invited.
Arcade Fire is another massive group of Canucks rocking out together. Saw them at Sasquatch, and the only person that had a bigger ensemble was Bjork.
(Bjork had a neon orchestra. Of course. Why wouldn’t she?)
