FLTWS owns Serial number 001 and will shortly have a new version. I prefer others talk about the amp since I am biased.
If he likes the new version I will upgrade his original at no charge.

Well LA is not a big place, maybe you live near each other. 
I do have some Camus XO cognac on the way from one friend but I have been known to get by with 21 year old Balvenie single malt.
@FLTWS please do not mention the altercation my thumb just had with a saw blade, no sense worrying anyone.

Here is an excellent review of the Pendant written by Torq. I’m not so sure it’s what you’d want going for an emotional presentation of music but it’s a very well regarded amp for sure.

I’m fine with that, I can make the opening post with a picture of mine and review I did for informational purposes.
That is helpful input/advice, thank you. Squeaky clean window on the sound - I like the sound of that. I also get a bit uneasy when the focus is winner/loser. Rather, compare and contrast, recognize their strengths and possible synergies, understand the intended expression/presentation.
Maybe this is an appropriate thread?

Well I know what the favored tubes were RCA grey glass and black glass Ken-Rad by-231 but they were used in Saga, and only as a buffer so results were not very conclusive. We tried.

Wanted to chime in and say I like Modius enough that I intend to give my review of it with the Stax 009 I’ve had! My amp should be here Friday
But, for me, Modius really does feel TOTL worthy! It’s not perfect [tho neither is ADI 2 but at it’s price it’s tough to beat for my tastes] nor do I feel it’s even RME ADI 2 good but it’s darn close and I intend to explore that concept!!!
