I didn’t mind season 2 but it definitely felt like a bridge or the intro to a much larger arc.
What were you referring to? Bezos gives me an error message when I try to access the link.
If only that were the case…I hear no news for season 3 yet.
This one…
The link worked for me. It’s for “Inuyashiki: Last Hero”.
It might be regional given my non US location.
We got a release date for the Jujutsu Kaisen prequel! This is gonna be good…
Há. Prequels are always informative. Interested to know how Gojō has gotten all that power.
Cool.
Im alway a little bit disappointed when these are released as there is a chance I may not be able to access them via typical means and it feels like I may miss out on something.
Nah, it’s not about Gojo (it’s about the other second year student which they mentioned earlier in the show ie. Maki, Panda, and the other dude’s companion)…they will explain Gojo’s power in s2 tho. lol
I’m completely speechless…the packaging and presentation is insane !
Although I didn’t find the Demon Slayer anime to be spectacular, movies from Aniplex rarely disappoint. The movie should be available digitally everywhere on the 22nd, so I don’t think you’ll have to miss out on this one @perogie!
Awesome. If I cant find it online I’ll bite the bullet an probably get the disc. Its been a while since Ive bought a physical copy of a movie.
I do recall reading somewhere that funimation may have the rights to stream the movie, I’ll have to keep my eye out as it could be one of those deals where its only available for a weekend or something dumb like that. They did that with the Bunny Senpai follow up movie, had it up for 3 days then gone.
So ‘Those Snow White Notes’ finally ended today…I was going to drop it but seeing as I was already almost done with it, I kept watching.
It’s probably the most disappointing show this season for me. In isolation, I could see it being a decent watch but comparing it to something like ‘Kono oto Tomare’ or any other music-centered anime, it is easily forgettable.
I havent watched it since you last brought it up. Your comments were spot on so I decided not to spend more time on it.
I actually decided to try a long established series (multiple seasons) that was still ongoing today and started watching My Hero Academia. I knew almost nothing about it and Im really enjoying it so far even though there may be some bumps in the road in later seasons from what gleaned from indirect references I have picked up. Its better than I was expecting, at least so far.
Ive been quite busy with other things of late so the anime watching has taken a backseat, looking forward to when I can binge watch some episodes to catch up on various series.
Finally got to watch the Demon Slayer movie last night…
It wasn’t spectacular, but it was a solid movie overall. The ending was just beautiful! I already knew what was gonna happen having read the manga, but it was wonderful to see the ending animated so beautifully. The fight scenes weren’t that amazing, but it was still very solid.
I’d recommend it but it’s not a movie you have to immediately go and watch.
Well good news for Demon Slayer fans…
Article title says June 22 but the body of the article says July 22. Will look on June 22.
86 is basically done for this season…damn, what a show! Looking forward to next season. I’ll probably force myself to read the LN for this cause it’s that good.
One complaint some people might have is the lackluster ending, but since this will be adapting the LN and with the confirmation of a S2, it’s easy to overlook it I think. It’s kind of like Mushoku Tensei from last season, which by the way you should all watch if you’re a fan of the isekai genre (term used for plots that revolve around parallel/fantasy/virtual worlds). ie. sword art online, konosuba, rezero, etc…
Yup! When I first watched the series I didn’t mind it, then they just did it too much across the whole season and it got a little problematic.
I don’t know…I felt it was definitely of high quality but I was a little underwhelmed. Probably because I’m comparing it to the fate series movies which are definitely 1st rate (both animated by unfotable).
You’ll get that near the ending!
I was mainly looking at micro detail, like the optical shimmering that warmth creates, the puffs of smoke, the wind moving the leaves. Character animation is pretty basic but I could study the attention they showed to detail all day.
Higehiro just finished today and it was alright. It’s not a must-watch but I didn’t feel like I wasted my time either.
I think I already know what my top anime of this season will be, but damn Oddtaxi was brilliant! This is underdog of the season, probably year, for sure and it most definitely deserves a re-watch. It did a great job linking all these seemingly random events and creating a unique story out of it. Man, that was great and it had a nice twist at the end too! So sad that this has gone under the radar…
