That could take measurement rigs to a whole new level.
Have a nice weekend everyone. Be happy and just Beat It.
I have this mini AC30 as well. For 5 years now. I always thought it being too bright and it was usually in the drawer (without the batteries, of course).
Until very recently I decided to plug the HD58X into it. HOLY CRAP. No more need for treble roll off. Perfect pairing. Now I can jam while walking over the house – and keeping social distancing.
Cheers.
I just plugged my cans straight into an LGV40 for keeping life simple. Walking around the house doing things like making coffee and vacuuming, you’re not too focused on quality. So it was a good excuse to use the DTS: X surround sound codec gimmick. Have to admit it’s miles better than Dolby Atmos. Usually I don’t use either.
So I have a problem, and it’s driving me crazy… especially because I am an overthinker.
Nobody has my phone number and neither to I give it freely on the internet, the only times that I leave my phone number is when there is a required field on contact forms, or when something is being sent to me.
This happened twice to me, a phone on WhatsApp from UK (+44) called me once, and when I call them when they are online, or send them messages, I don’t get answered.
I’m thinking if it’s a post office service or what, what I did notice is that both phones were recently opened on WhatsApp… and they cannot be tracked back to anybody (from a simple google search).
I can post both phone numbers here… but only if somebody asks me to.
Did this happen to anybody else?
It’s driving me crazy, I cannot confirm in any way as to whom this may be… and it’s so annoying since I didn’t get any email or message saying who it was. Ugh.
I would truly be glad to hear if anybody else experienced a similar thing. Btw I’m not from the UK, and never in my life did anybody contact me from UK.
p.s. the two phone numbers didn’t contact me in the same time period. Once contacted me in April, and the other contacted me today (June 16th)
I get a lot of scam calls (usually the “Therre is a problemm with yourr Dekstop”, sometimes different ones)
Sometimes people mistype numbers, then you get the awkward “no this is not”-conversation.
This is landline though. I never thought much of it honestly. Just what happens from time to tim.
The weird thing is that I am outside of the UK, and ir has never happened before… it seems like a too big of a coincidence that it happened a month ago, and now again.
It’s possible, but its driving me insane that I cannot confirm 100%… but I cannot do much tbh
Don’t overthink. There are programs that once they find a valid number start dialing the 1000 related numbers.
I got mail from Radio Paradise today. They need support. I can think of few audio causes that are more deserving.
That’s an awesome dog.
Indeed. I visited family every Christmas for years. They had a big white fluffy Samoyed dog I loved to walk.
I routinely get scam calls and can spot them easily. Why? I moved and didn’t change to the local area code. So, whenever I receive a scam call it comes from the prior region. Only a few people from that area would ever call me, and they are already present as contacts with caller ID. On a few occasions I’ve answered the scammers, and they were selling insurance or in a foreign language.
These calls were much more common in the US a couple years ago, but the government seems to have cracked down. The scammers hacked the phone system long ago, much like they hacked email to spread spam as far back as the mid 1990s.
It’s very possible. But me being in Serbia, and never had any associasion with the UK… it just seems so odd.
I think it is possible that it is indeed a scam, but the fact that I cannot confirm it makes me think it isn’t… byt again, which company contacts you on WhatsApp. idk
Some scammers want you to call back, because it will cost you something like $100 a minute to dial their number.
I would forget about them.
I am aware of all that… I’m not that insane to make a call for a number outsude of my country.
Do note it was on WhatsApp, so it’s harmless to make a call on it. I did manage to catch them when they were online, they would just reject my call. And they do not “seen” my messages.
I might just forget about it
Happy Cake Day @ValentineLuke!
Thank you!
It’s been a year on this forum, but it doesn’t seem like it. I’m glad to be a part of such a great community.
