This is how I would like to crossfade into the next world. Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.

Wild fires in CO getting pretty bad. Ash is falling from the sky, and you can’t see the sun. The picture doesn’t really convey the haze and you can’t see the ash, but it’s really stinky out there.

My nephew is north of Denver. He shared a picture yesterday of the sunset and you could see how discolored the sky was.

Stay safe.

Stay safe.

As @ValentineLuke said you’re gonna get some sunset colours that will be ominously pretty. This seems like the norm across the continent now. And lets not forget what happened in Aus.

I live up in the mountains, Summitt County, and the smoke was horrible last week. We had a couple days of rain that cleared some of it. But now we’re prepping for 5-8” of snow on Tuesday after record high temps. Curiouser and curiouser…

I hope everyone has a blessed Memorial Day, as we take this day to honor those that we have lost in service of this great nation.

God bless. :us:

I’m not that good with dates but I’m pretty sure Sep 7 is Labor Day in USA. According to timeanddate.com:

Labor Day is a federal holiday and falls on the first Monday of September every year. It was initially organized to celebrate labor unions and their contributions to the United States’ economy.

Labor Day, United States

Apologies. I hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed Labor Day.

… it’s snowing. Actual snow. It was 92° yesterday.

Only in Colorado.

Or almost any province in Canada… not to be competitive about this or anything.

Hopefully that helps with the wildfires.

@perogie, I chose the X-Sabre Pro based off of reading several reviews, and advice of forum members here.

I wanted a Sabre DAC because of how much I enjoy the Audioquest Dragonfly Cobalt. It’s just a great little DAC that’s sound really resonates with me.

Here’s my write-up of it:

Cool. Sounds like logic is being employed. It’s harder to hear the more expensive pieces.

It’s supposed to be a really good Sabre implementation. Not Sabre like.

Yeah, apparently most people’s experiences are with lower price-point, poorly implemented ESS DACs. But there are a quite a few higher tier brands that use Sabre. Benchmark, Mytek, and McIntosh just to name a few.

The X-Sabre Pro is the best Sabre dac I’ve heard to date. Period. It was between that and the Yggy A2 for me. I only went with the Yggy because I had more hands on listening experience with it and knew it paired very well with the 3F and Blackwidow - pairings I didn’t have a chance to compare when using the Pro.

Still, I highly recommend it as an outstanding DAC.

You were one of the opinions I was referencing. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

And interestingly, the Yggdrasil is the other DAC I’m looking at for my other setup!

I got to hear this DAC a month ago on a pretty nice system I personally can’t handle the ESS glare/harsh ( its what I call it) The X-Sabre Pro to me doesn’t have that. It was rich and clean sounding, very musical. Its also on my short list of DAC’s.

Nice! I love all the feedback, thank you!

Maybe if you decide on it we can share impressions.

Cheers!
