BTW, I doubt anyone will remember but I mentioned some time ago (when the album was recently released) that I could hear a bit of distorsion on a track when played through Spotify.
Nobody else could hear it so I thought it was my gear. I tried different HP and amps/dacs and could still hear it. But I gave up trying to find the reason.
I am just listening to the same track, after not listening to it since then, streaming “Master” from Tidal and the same distorsion jumps out at me in the same place (I had totally forgotten about it). I thought it was my brain but I can hear it every time I play the track. It is the song “Dark Ballet” (from Madame X) and it is at the 1:55/1:56 point, through the right channel.
I’m listening on the U12t and in my left ear I hear small little pops consistently in the upper left portion of the staging at those marks…very faint but constant at that point… odd that it is my left side though and it is at the 1:56/7 time point when the piano kicks in
I hear two clicks, at a VERY low level (barely audible), also on the left channel, at that time code. It’s not distortion though - nor do I hear anything that is distortion around that time code.
You’re know you’re operating on too little sleep when every headphone/IEM you use during the course of the day seems to have gained a huge amount of sub-bass/bass performance …
… and it’s not until 17:05 that you realize you have an EQ profile enabled in Roon …
Due to the fact that I am currently working on a new YouTube channel (in Spanish) I have had to create a Twitter account for contact with certain manufacturers.
I don’t do social media (I haven’t had a personal one since the days of MySpace).
Anyway, the reason I am posting this is because I just received a tweet (or someone retweeted or however you say it) that is from Roon offering 30 days free to anyone that gets someone else to join their community.
I don’t use Roon (outside my pay grade) but I thought it was worth commenting for any of you that do and want to refer someone.
