Ahh. Well that is the beauty of an OTL, flexibility with tube rolling. With a caveat, this particular tube amp is not going to be fast as say another tube topology such as SET. There may be others who have managed to transform it into something fast like a hybrid or solid state, I have not tried as it could be easier and less frustrating to go with another type fore speed.
I would also suggest the headphone being used would also be a factor, for example the Verite is faster than the HD650. Granted these are on the opposite end of the spectrum, it would be the best reference range I could provide given those are the two headphones I use with this amp.

A bit of afternoon glow today enjoying “Free the Mind” by Johann Johannsson on the MC 240. Several of these tubes are original to the amp (55 years old!) and still surviving, although dimming a bit in their old age. It will be a sad day when they finally fizzle up to tube heaven. I’ll have to track down some tube boxes and sell them on eBay as “NOS” since that seems to be what other sellers are doing these days.

That is super cool!! I have to look around for one of those. Super cool how it has multiple tiers to it too.
Bosch does have a pretty cool setup. I’m not sure how well treated his listening room is. More worrisome, though, is the lack of cables (at least in the early seasons).

Yeesh, If that is LA those records would probably have some serious warps from the sun.
I love seeing cool hifi in tv/movies. There’s a bunch of Korean films that have killer systems in the background.

I remember that one, and thinking how the hell are they going to power it, and where’s the DAC?

Lol is it just connected to that one speaker?
Hopefully there is a tweeter above that driver or it’s a subwoofer.

Looks just like mine! I love it, it’s a great little tube amp worth way more than it costs, but this week I’m taking delivery of an Eddie Current Studio 8, which will be my primary headphone amp…
