Try to utilize an amp that has at a minimum 2w at 50 ohms for those HE6se. I use a GSX-mini for the HE6se. My two AS Kenzies don’t have quite enough juice to make them sing, although they still sound decent on the Kenzie tubed amps. Power is important with those HE6 cans. Sensitivity is 83.6db.
Oh yea they definitely need power! I’m using them with the Flux FA-10 at the moment which has 16W at 32 Ohms so I got that front covered
Loving the combo so far. I have been eyeing the GSX-mini as well.
Power is good. . The Headamp GSX-mini is a neat little HA. Very nicely built. I use a small AC infinity S6 fan with it to keep it cool in the cabinet.
I have one from the first production run in late 2019. Decided to buy one after CanJamLA 2019. Satin Grey faceplate.
Yo-yo happy Saturday/Sunday!
