I’ve been listening to this since it dropped earlier this week. Not your typical headphone forum/audiophile track, but musically these guys entrance me.
Yes!! Didn’t know there was a new Be”Lakor album out…will check this out tomorrow.
Hello!
I’m going craaazy at medasin - work for you (ft kaz moon)
Don’t know if you’ll are familiar with that type of music, but if someone know beats like that or song with that vibe and vocals, please share, I’ll appreciate it.
(It;s the first time i and a link so don’t know if was done properly).
Well, the full release isn’t until October, but Hidden Window is the new single. It’s awesome!
This week was all about jazz in Tokyo and this was probably my favorite album of the week. Lots of sound effects and interesting percussion. Fun!

Some of us were born a couple of years later and worked our way back to Husker Du from Sugar.
Then we found tha Damned.
And by then, of course, it was too late.

Ripping my dads CD collection, listened to this album last night.
Classic! One of the few I have on multiple formats and versions
This is sweet. Acoustic. Emmy Lou Harris at her best. Live, well-recorded, at the Ryman, which the Grand Ole Opry used to call home. From 1991. My Beautiful Sound hybrid pads for the Grado RS1e just arrived. I grabbed my iPhone, the no-fuss Apple Camera Card 2, and Dragonfly Cobalt. When I fired up Qobuz, this was one of the first choices, in 24 bit 96KHZ, which matches my chain nicely.
Incredible mandolin on this album, Amarillo is just a stand-out.

Just waiting for Apple to try the Dolby Atmos treatment on this - it might actually be a good candidate.
Young’uns, if you ain’t heard Spike Jones and his City Slickers, you’re missing true Americana.

I have an on/off relationship with Elvis Costello’s music. This album is solidly on. Perhaps my favorite. I don’t know, he came in past my prime listening years. Seemed nerdy, but not in a good way, like say DEVO or Talking Heads. His early stuff just seems to me to be inconsistent, either hit it out of the ballpark, or more commonly wiff wiff wiff. This, however is good. More energy, but more focus. Pump it Up just rocks. I don’t want to go to Chelsea is also excellent. Looks like Elvis Costello is maturing as a musician.
This revisit with estilo Latino is in my opinion, way better than the original.
Actually it was released just today, but I’m listening to it now.
St. Vincent The Nowhere Inn
This is…experimental…a themed set of atmospheric, mostly instrumental, and rhythm-driven interludes. The songs are often less than one minute and only a couple are over 3 minutes long. This album is way more accessible than her very recent 2021 album, the 1970s retro Daddy’s Home. I tried but didn’t like that one at all. Maybe no one else did either, and this is intended to change the topic and make us forget?
She continues to be the female reincarnation of (hit-or-miss and experimental) Prince.
Two of my most beloved composers.
