What music have you been listening to this past week?

I’m a big 'War on Drugs" fan, but I wasn’t prepared for how much I’d love this new single, all beautiful guitar tone, emo lyrics, and stellar production with Lucius on background vocals.

@monochromios This reminded of a couple artists/tracks you’ve shared that I’ve enjoyed. Thought this might be something of interest to you…though with your incredible consumption/knowledge of music, probably one you’re already familiar with.

Thank you for your kindness.
Moritz Von Oswald has been a collaborator of Eliane Radigue. Great polystumentist and great musician.
I know a lot of his works but not this album.
I gotta fill the gap.
Thank you.

I’ve been hooked on Mammal Hands’ “Shadow Works.” If you’re into modern jazz, I highly recommend them and their albums are always nicely mastered, so they sound excellent via headphones and two-channel systems.

Beatriz Ferreyra, member of the INA GRM, is one of my favourite artist.
If you’re into electroacoustic music/musique concrète here’s a download code to her latest album.
Enjoy.

This is one of the best albums I’ve come across this year.

Listening to the recently released (2019 remix) on Qobuz “Pink Foyd - A Momentary Lapse of Reason”. I’ve been listening to this album for over 30 years and the detail brings out a side I’ve never heard before. Guess I’ll have to listen to the older version and see what really changed. Or maybe it just sounds different now then it did back then on cassette.
