Working my way through this set. The live recordings are fantastic. They sound so alive with the Stellia. Need some EQ with LCD-3

They sound fantastic. Wish I could understand it.
I was rejoicing with this album last night!
Being a weeb kinda helps a bit… I can make out some sentences, it just naturally comes to my head
No doubt underappreciated. He has an immense body of work
If you’re in that state of mind, I’d recommend some Max Richter.
sit in the dark(only the weak tetris light on)and listen some acoustic with the dogs head on my leg… was a crazy week
through Empire Zeus IEM.
It sounds lively with nice details.
While out of town, I depend on either Youtube or Amazon music if internet available.
Huge fan of that Chris Cornell album. His live acoustic stuff is incredible.
Yes his voice gets me every time on it
Good stuff!!
One of those voices I can’t get enough of…
Goldfrapp - The Singles
through Empire Zeus IEM driven by Dell Laptop.
It sounds delicious with nuanced details.
This also sounds very nice.
My Dad, 91, was talking last night about what he first was listening to. And what was popular as he was growing up. Pointed me toward early Duke Ellington, at the end of the 20s and in the early 30s. You can really hear the change from earlier pre-jazz ‘hot’ music to early improvisational big band. ‘Ring Dem Bells’ is a great example. I found an early recording on Apple Music, sadly could not find better elsewhere. TIDAL had a later version. If anyone finds a cleaner early recording, please post a pointer. All seem to be needle drops or radio tapes of needle drops.
I asked Siri to play some Benny Goodman, and the selection was “Rose Room” by his Sextet. I’m only familiar with his big band sound, and I assure you I will be listening to the Sextet in weeks to come. Dad named 5 of the six members, we had to look up the last. Even though Mom has memory issues wit short term memory, she can sing along to dozens, probably hundreds of 40s hits.
Diana Krall, Jane Monheit, and Norah Jones. Some Kenny G, James Taylor and Neil Diamond as well.
There‘s the 1989 album „Early Ellington (1927-1934)“ on Bluebird (ND86852) which has the 1930 version as track 12 in pretty ok sonic quality. It is taken from the original mtx BVE-61011-3 / Vic 20-1532 record as well, but has been digitally remastered, so could be a good fit to what you‘re looking for.
