Here’s a typical EDC in the USA:
[Yes, they are being ironic.]
Just showing how the other half lives…
Here’s a typical EDC in the USA:
Uh huh…not real he says…
I have been to Australia…seen…the Horror, the horror! That the Drop bear creates, oh and the Fear!
Lol… fine, koalas aren’t vicious attack marsupials lol! But it is pretty funny!
No. Koalas can be vicious things. They all have STD’s, sleep in trees high on Eucalyptus, and make this weird as fuck growling grunt noise. Don’t be fooled, not all cute n cuddly.
sounds a little like my ex
People love Koalas…
The Glock stays with me 24/7. Things are going crazy
Name checks out!
I have a large metal torch I keep in the bedside. Apart from that I only carry Des and Troy around with me. Des-Troy kisses biceps
Very nice! I have an rmr on my 19 as well.
All due respect to our Australian friends, but that place is crazy. The whole country wants to kill you.
To start, 21 of the top 25 most venomous snakes are indigenous to Oz.
Get in the ocean and there are box jellyfish (THE most venomous animal earth), and highly venemous blue ringed octopi and stonefish hiding in the shallows. Not to mention the legendary saltwater crocodile.
Retreat inland and the aforementioned snakes, unusually poisonous spiders and more crocs await.
As @BuffaloWing said, even the cuddly looking mammals are dicks.
The humans, on the other hand are the warmest, funniest, most honest people I’ve met. Go watch an Australian football game if you don’t believe me (go Magpies!!). It’s a culture with a zeal for life.
Oh, and just to keep it on topic, here’s my EDC. No sidearm, as you can tell from the California bear on my briefcase
.
Firstly, I can tell you’re not from Australia, as you support the Magpies. Indicates you are, in fact, not from Earth.
And secondly yes. Some real dangerous shit. I’ve seen a few box jellyfish washed up. And the eyes of a croc pop up in a river. And have helped a snake catcher pull a eastern brown from the shrubs in a kids playground. And yes, they all can kill you easily. BUT they don’t want to, generally.
They do make some of my favorites! Sig does too.
I hate Glock. What’s up with that weird grip angle? Puts my wrist in a bad position.
It was based on a 1980s strategy to improve accuracy. The odd angle tends to point high, but many users tend to pull low. The hollow gap forces the hand into a high grip. AFAIK they never considered comfort at all given the intended use case. Never underestimate the Austrian or Swiss potential for overthinking a solution.
Did the Professor say Sig?
Don’t let me bring some of those for show and tell, I may end up banned on here. Let’s say they come in three sizes…
I’m so jealous!
I can’t legally own that pistol here in California.
Lean forward. Balance is important.
He learned that. It was his first day shooting.
Good grip placement, not tucking the thumb into the grip is a good habit.
Sig 226? The chrome/steel barrel that is visible is throw off my identification on it.
One of the main reasons I live in Virginia instead of the District is ownership laws.
