Just got a new pup ourselves.
Since border collies are considered one of the most intelligent breeds of dogs I named him Lazlo after the character in the movie Real Genius who was proported to be the smartest guy in the world.

Donald has a demo unit that he loans out for audition.
If you scroll up this thread, you’ll see I had it early fall and Andris had about a year before he got his Stellaris.
It was in poor shape when I got it, so after listening to it for a month, I sent it back to Donald for a rehab. I think Karan is the first person to get it since.

I’m always reluctant to go into detail about my impressions. I’ve had tinnitus since a was a kid, so my hearing has slowly deteriorated over the years. One of the reasons I’m a headphone guy these days is that I can just hear the music better wearing cans.
That being said, very clean, nice detail without sacrificing being musical. The most spacial headphones I’ve owned. A very ZMF take on planars. They sound fantastic. I love my Utopias, but found I missed the Final Audio D-8000s. Not anymore.
I’ll try to post more thoughts after I’ve had them for a few weeks.

I feel lucky that mine was “only” a 10 month wait. I think he got a flood of orders in a relatively short period of time which sent the wait time soaring.
