They weren’t shipping the Lineo5 when I bought mine either. I bought an ifi LPS for it instead.
It is a very nice streamer, and their customer service was A+. I highly recommend it.

I got my Centaurus today. I still don’t know if it was the correct purchase because I made it on an impulse late at night. I only have a dozen or so minutes on it before watching the Cyan and Centaurus reviews again. I can certainly tell a difference when compared to my SMSL SU-9, the jury is out on whether it’s better or not, I need more time on it. Typically, when I get something new and different I don’t like it at first.
The R2R is more… “airy” or veiled and has better staging? I’m really bad with describing what I’m hearing and rarely do A/B testing so I’m going with knee jerk initial reactions. Also for some reason I keep finding the left channel louder than the right but that could be track design because it’s only on occasion with some sounds. I’ve had this issue before with other equipment, but I guess my brain adapted to the difference. (I quickly turned my headphones around and the volume discrepancy followed the ear cups)
I’m using the A70pro for my testing right now, don’t want to tube it up right off the bat.
Are there any good videos about learning audio terms or best practices for dacs? I don’t oversample and when watching the YT video’s and playing with the OS multiplier there was a noticeable glitch in the sound when I turned up the OS, like he said kind of a grainy quality in the treble. I actually wanted to see if this was something I could pick up on, so I have firsthand experience with jitter, because I simply don’t know what it is. After I experience and understand jitter I’m going to look into updating the topping.
*edit: Also the setup is just temporary, I’m working on getting a lazy boy in a room with no digital flashing and clicky thing’s to distract me.

Man, the KPH30 is so freaking good!!! When I got my first pair I literally couldn’t take them off. Went from PC to car and wore them around the store then back to the PC and finally messaged a buddy of mine and gave them to him because I wanted them off my head and the only way I could justify taking them off was to give them to someone. Since then I have purchased at least a dozen of them and given them as gifts. It’s a good way to ensure I always have headphones with me as my most recent pair live in the car.
Something about taking me back to the day’s of being a kid sitting in the backseat of my parent’s car while I went to work with them listening to a walkman or discman on some cheapo sony’s, it’s certainly a hi-fi product compared to them but captures the nostalgia very well. Absolutely adore them and if someone took away all of my headphone gear and left me with these and a way to listen to them I wouldn’t complain… much.

I’ll be interested to hear what you think. My atriums finally arrived and absolutely loving them. Favorite ZMF to date. Still need to try the Caldera closed one day but I’m pretty content atm.

Atrium closed are my favorite closed backs hands down. Miss mine, but my ears are still ringing.

I enjoyed the AC as well. If the AO didn’t exist I’d have the AC. The AC took some adjusting for me but overall I liked them.
