I agree that the stock Susvara cables are indeed disappointing in the build quality department but they do sound good - I would suggest you to try them if you haven’t done so, specially if you don’t have anything “better”. I’ve used the stock cable for the first week or before upgrading to the Norne Audio Einvaldi (silver + copper) which looks, feels and sounds better, without breaking the bank. The Silvergrade S3C is the TOTL of their lineup but it’s pure silver which I don’t really dig the sound in most my headphones, ZMF VC being the exception.

Did you ever try Silvergarde S3C with VO? I just put in my order few days ago. I’ve been using Claire Hybrid HPC cable (8 strands of cryo 7N UPOCC copper + UPOCC silver) from Forza AudioWorks and liking it so far but I want more vocal detail/texture. I’m hoping pure silver cable can get me closer to this.

I haven’t tried the Silvergrade cable, I was just saying that I don’t really dig the sound of pure silver cables on most of my headphones, the only that I like with pure silver is the VC. I had the VO for a few days and sold them after getting the VC, they’re way too similar to my ears to justify keeping both of them.

That’s good to hear. Yeah, I ordered it specifically for VO’s chain. I’m hoping pure silver won’t change the low end too much but enhance the vocal to a degree.
