this seems to be a new restriction on the forum. if possible, i’d appreciate if it could be removed.

That’s not a new thing, and I’ve been visiting this site from the very start. I believe it’s to prevent spam and disruptive posts. If you’ve been able to post more than 3 in a row, there may have been a security setting error.

Instead of multiple consecutive replies, you can quote multiple previous posts into one reply.

Select the text from the previous post you want to make a quote out of. You should see a pop-up that gives you the option to Quote or Copy Quote. Quote will immediately paste it into a reply post as quoted text while Copy Quote just puts the text into the clipboard so you can paste it in.

so i should delete previous posts and copy-paste/quote all the text into a single post?

you highlight the text you wanna quote from post 1, click reply in the bottom right corner of that post, and then you do it the same way for the next post.
