I guess it was only a matter of time before the rest of the headphone internet discovered this calm, low-drama, high-value little oasis of ours. It takes a lot of time and effort to build a great community, but it doesn’t take much to wreck one.

A few notes/thoughts/clarifications before I close this thread …
My issues are not with this forum. This place exhibits much less of the behavior that I’ve grown so tired of, than any other site/forum I can name. It’s a problem that exists at a hobby level, and even beyond that (nature of people and social media).
I’m tired of it.
It isn’t fun anymore.
So it’s easier just not to be involved in it; hence, no more answering questions, nor posting/discussing impressions.
The kind words are appreciated, but not necessary.
The point of the post was more to avoid people sending unnecessary questions, requests for impressions, comparisons, etc. (since they will sit unanswered), than anything else.
I’ve no interest in creating channels/presence on YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Discord, Facebook, nor starting a forum, podcast or blog.
And with that, I think this thread has long since run its course.
