One minor comment - I did not take photos, but the stereo mini plug on the Special Edition Black/Gold has a lot more plastic around it than the standard Porta Pro. This makes it a bit harder to plug in where clearances are tight, such as with some phone cases and with my Vindor wind synth. I don’t know if this is true with all the SE Porta Pros or not.

Yeah, I think the ‘best’ connector of all the Porta Pros is the one found on the Drop version. It has a nice, thick cable with a coiled wired relief.

will do it differnet next time … was a bit lazy
used a 85mm quite closed down - not enough … wish the KSC 75s were a touch less out of focus
the vignette is a bit to hard in my edit… was not motivated to get out the big grey paper background and put up lights … even did not brush out the cable in the mid bottom and the brownish rest of the background in the right bottom corner in the frame…
afterwards my wife and I came up wih the idea, to show her tattoos on both arms for some more colour, which could be a bit distracting from the headphones - not sure yet about it
with her dark hoody, we had no nasty cables flying around and distracting from the main object
next time I set lights, build up the background and use a 35 or 50mm - will post it here first

Working at work alone for this week. It’s a 2 person office, and my Admin is off taking care of her kids released from school and daycare because her usual backup isn’t available.
We’re open for business but closed to the public, so I wore jeans and a flannel shirt. AND BROUGHT IN HEADPHONES!!
I didn’t go crazy. Koss Porta Pros, iPhone edition.
Then I had issues with the wi-fi, customers calling, and was just way too busy to listen. I did use them for a phone call. Maybe tomorrow… I can relax if the stock market doesn’t go up or down.

Yes, it is, and it has a blue Yaxi on the left and a black Yaxi on the right. But I still didn’t get to listen much, although I cleared up my wi-fi issue. Maybe tomorrow as I burrow through interminable insurance paperwork.

Using my son’s Porta Pros (he’s barely taken them off since Christmas) now with Qobuz through a mojo and ifi iPurifier3. Knew I liked them, but again surprised how good they sound. And don’t even have the yaxi pads yet. I’ve read everything that’s been said about them here, but still always surprising!

Yeah, they’re a pretty fantastic little headphone. My some uses his all the time, and I do as well!
I definitely recommend the Yaxi’s, they’re a great little upgrade.
