Welcome to the forum @james . Since you have a deep passion for classical music, please stop by the Classical Music thread sometime. That thread tends to have bouts of frantic activity followed by periods of silence (presumably while we’re listening to the music instead of chatting about it), but maybe you’ll wake us all up.
Why don’t you post your question about DAC and amp upgrade suggestions in the General Purchase Advice thread so that the introduction thread doesn’t get bogged down in questions and answers about a new DAC/Amp. Just copy and paste your setup and question into a new post in that thread.
