Iāve left my SU-8 on its stock settings the entire time Iāve had it. Iām using it with my TV in a 2-channel speaker setup (Kali Audio LP-6s). I mostly listen to heavy metal, hip-hop, and electronic music.
I did bring it to a Head-Fi meet earlier in the year and hooked it up to an Auralic Taurus to listen to a bunch of high-end over-ear headphones (Meze Empyrean, Sennheiser 800S and 820, ZMF Eikon, a few others), and it performed spectacularly.

Just joined after lurking for a little while, seems like thereās lot of chill people in here 
Originally from L.A. where I was mostly a speaker guy but now Iām in S. Korea so Iāve become more of a headphones guy due to space limitations.
So Iāve started this journey with the Sendy Aivas and the Sabaj D5 amp/dac, since they are fairly easy for me to get here (though I did end up buying the Aivas from USA). Looking forward to learning and sharing with you.

I had to Google the Sendys as well. Itās one of the things I love about this place, we have people from all over the world that can surprise us with new gear.

Thank you Jaethan, Iāll be happy to share my humble impression of the D5 in a little while. Iāve only had it for less than 2 weeks but what I can say is that it makes me want to listen to music every night

Yes, thatās an impressive list of equipment you have. I would love to own a Phonitor XE. Some nice Dacs and Daps too. Heck everything is great.

Thanks, this is taken several iterations as well as two house moves that led to getting the best fit, and a bit of luck in finding a local seller with the Aficionado . In the last couple of months Iāve sold some gear and I may still set a couple more that are getting less use. 502DAC, Soekris, Neurochrome, and Ćon form the system for at work. Iām tempted to get the new VeritĆ© closed to replace the other closed headphones.

The VeritĆ© Closed seem to be getting universal praise. I know the guys that own it around here love theirs. I havenāt had the pleasure to hear them myself. There arenāt any local places unfortunately that carry this kind of stock.

Given how much I love my original VeritĆ©, how much I use headphones at work, and all the positive feedback Iāve been reading about the VC, I could not resist getting in on the first VC batch today (the introductory discount didnāt hurt, either ;)) Now just to wait for the ZMF gnomes to forge them in their secret lair under the Great Lakesā¦

Hi all,
I just joined recently and have been searching buttons and icons to start a new message. Itās not obvious and Iām not sure Iāve done it right or not.
Iāll plow on like it is.
I was tempted to refer to us, collectively, as Phonies, but it seems that word has an alternate meaning already. 
I joined because I wanted recommendations from the Jazz discussion group for slow tempo, late night type, Jazz music. Iāll try thrashing around in that thread again to see if I can figure it out.
This post was accidental and may, for all I know, go to some bizarre depository/group like alt.cannibalism.
So, there yaā go. Here I am. My name is Carl. Iāve had MANY headphones and fewer earbuds in my life. Love intimate music.

Hello all, recent member and this community has already provided excellent reading and help to meā¦ Thank you so much.
Hobbies are photography and golf but most important here is a new found interest in music and awesome sound. I am am starting back focused on headphones. So much to learn but it will be fun.
The site seems very well organized which I appreciate.
Anyhow, thanks again.

New here too (well, been on for about a week now). Iāve probably been pretending to be an audiophile for about 5 years now but loved music my whole life. Iāve spent a little time on Head-Fi but this forum looks interesting and a bit more modern.
Mostly a R&B, Hip Hop person with some other types of music in there as well. Equipment wise, probably a bit of an Audeze and iFi fan along with the Foster/x TH series family/derivatives.
