Someone mentioned In The Air Tonight recently, I think it was in @MRHifiReviews test track playlist. So, grabbed the old CDs, ripped them to lossless and … back in the 80ies!!
I find more and more that those 80ies CDs were really well recorded and mastered.

I agree, Home By The Sea is also a favorite of mine. ‘Genesis’ was the first Genesis album I bought and possibly the first rock album I’d ever listened to as a kid, so the 11 minutes of Home By The Sea & Second Home By The Sea blew my puny little mind at the time.
BTW, did you mean to say ‘self-titled album’ instead of first album? It was their 12th.

It’s not so much that you talk to yourself as it is that you listen.
I’ve developed a fondness for Blues over the past few years, Whiskey however I must avoid due to health issues.
