I think you may be right. I noticed that when I quit other apps and just had Qobuz and, say, Chrome running, the issue did not recur. A good motivation to monotask and simplify!
I tried Qobuz a couple years back but canceled due to instability. The software often crashed, and it also routinely forced my DAC to drop down to 16/44.1.
So far so good, it functions fine with everything I have used. Seriously canât remember a time Quboz has had any issues what so ever.
Guess fierce competition has forced them to be on top of this.
Ironically I have had more issues with roon than Quboz, find that odd since roon seems to get more updates and probably more
And that there is the reason.
Though to be fair itâs more complicated piece of software with a lot more moving pieces than Qobuz.
Roonâs problem is they are releasing faster than they can get good enough test on the changes they are making. Theyâve had some pretty terrible issues in the last 3 months of releases.
Yeah, I put my Roon subscription on hold for now, recently I noticed I keep having issues with it, I still have Audirvana so I am using that for now, I do subscribe to Qobuz, but for some reason I prefer to use third party apps for it.
Wish I had the same option @mauaudio, I got three systems operating on a streamer and roon makes life easy to operate them. I know that airplay is virtually the same to a certain extent.
However the EQ is a huge plus and thereâs no issues with smooth transitions from each streaming device I find helpful. Airplay for some odd reason doesnât connect everytime
@Polygonhell yea absolutely donât understand why they got an update every week basically. If it ainât broke donât fix it lol
New update on Qobuz desktop app for Mac OS seems to have solved the bugs. Have not heard any crackling or glitches!!
