Kaskade one of my favorite electronic DJs and producers, dreamy vocals combined with progressive electronic beats and some deep bass. Unfortunately, most of his stuff isn’t in Hi-Res however this album is!
@MarCo7 very cool! I was very fortunate to catch a few as well in is very early days before he became a big name in that genre of music, then later I was hired to photograph him during one of his shows at a Vegas style nightlife venue he played at. That was one of my favorite nights as an entertainment photographer! His music definitely brings me good energy and evokes lots of fun memories.
Love Tycho’s laid back electronic beats, was fortunate to see one of his sunrise sets on the black rock desert For an incredible sunrise pretty magical…
@Generic thanks for sharing this I have been listening to it last night and this morning and I dig it! I especially like the ethereal sounding tracks with the her sexy vocals and beats like~
She’s the girlfriend of Elon Musk, and seemingly 7 months pregnant with (his?) baby.
The metal-lite song We Appreciate Power predates the release of Album #5, and is pretty well known on its own.
The most famous song on Album #4Art Angels is perhaps Kill v. Maim – it was her attempt to have a dark/hard tone (lyrics based on The Godfather I read…the song is pretty mild).
She came to my attention based on year-end positive reviews of Visions, Album #3:
It’s so fun to put down a set of headphones for awhile, then come back to them. The Piano played by Lang Lang sounds so beautiful from the Bifrost 2/LYR3 with the Hifiman Ananda. I really enjoy these headphones and their synergy with the Schiit stack is pretty magical.
These are all great recommendations, I especially am going to pay more attention to Grimes’ work.
I found this album, which I like a lot, and ordered the LP of it. Hopefully it’ll arrive in a couple of weeks. Enjoy! Alessandro Cortini - Volume Massimo
This beautiful tune popped back into my consciousness last night. It came from nowhere I haven’t heard it for a while. But I really love this.
