Being a G2 fan for every day use on all paper types, check out some options from Retro 51. The quality is stupid for retail. All metal, smooth twist out tip, 0.7mm line width, strikingly shiny black ink drying without feather from prestigious material to basic sticky note use. On Amazon you can get one personalized with your name. 
My favorite designers are the Fire and Ice (Dungeons and Dragons theme) and 8-bit video game edition. Sore to this day about missing the zen garden launch. All 700+ sold out in under two hours. Now they go for bonkers prices.
FYI the solid color lacquered bodies feel best to hold in hand. The Fire and Ice metal is a bit thinner. Usually why I only grab the smoother looking finishes but that board game theme was…irresistible. Just look at that dice block on the twist part.
