Mine had the same packing. I took out two and put my old tubes in as a storage case. Anyone have suggestions for other-than-paper-box tube storage systems?

For these size tubes, the containers that camera film rolls used to come in would be great, if only they existed nowadays!

Edit: maybe a small jewelry case that has compartments, that’s what I store IEMs in.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen an uglier set of headphones. The users kept calling customer service. They were all saying that everytime they plugged in the headphones, they heard booing.

FYI - My original plan was to cut out the wooden cores with the logos and use them as a test bed for alternate resonating materials. I abandoned that idea after listening for 5 minutes. Just too good to destroy!

These “BiGR” products circa 2012 turned out be be FAR BETTER Grados than similar Grado products. They follow the SR-80 design to a large extent, but are more comfortable and have a mid-focused tuning (akin to Bose or Sony mainstream). The non-MLB edition was $100 in 2013. In today’s market they’d easily be positioned between $100 and $200, especially considering the MLB licensing fees. I paid $25 – they do indeed look like give-aways for “headphone night” at the ballpark.

Were these from an ebay seller?

I need to buy some spare 6922 for the Drop CTH. Nothing exotic, just same Electro-Harmonix to have on hand when the included tube wears out.

I might try one standard and one gold version, it’s only $25 anyway.

Thanks. It seems like he doesn’t have the tubes I’m looking for but I will save the link for the future.

Is that a wavedream? Standard or signature edition? Would love to hear your thoughts of comparison between Pavane and this.
I too am thinking of Pavane vs Adagio vs Wavedream.

Edit: Just saw your later post where you clarify it is Wavedream signature. How is the Pavane vs Wavedream?

These are sold as back-to-school Crayon storage boxes at Michael’s & Wal-Mart in the US.

I’ve used them to store IEM’s with some home-made foam inserts. They sell larger ones for use as pencil cases, I’ve stuffed all my various headphone adapters in several of those.

A little foam rubber, some creative cutting and you should be able store tubes in these easily.

Nice. Does one play better with tubes?

I think you received more in headphones and IEMs than the GNP of some third world nations.
