What's in the box!

LOL, that skull is so cool, I found the seller on Etsy and bought one for my son, who just leaves his 6XX lying around. I first saw it on Marcello’s @MRHifiReviews Instagram and I was so excited to buy it I forgot to use his 10% off coupon. :skull:

Its an input transformer box. You hook it up before your headphone amps rca inputs if it doesn’t have input transformers inside already. Basically most of the upgrade of a kenzie encore over the original kenzie from ampsandsound

I assembled a primitive one of those many years ago to use with my Ham / Scanner equipment. It cleaned up the sound in my then Mobile Truck setup to where it was much easier to follow the conversation.

Im done buying amps for now on! No more swapping for me. I sold all my expensive cherished LP’s to buy this and got a really good deal. Now time to pay off my credit cards because they are out of hand.

Putting a purchase into Ampsandsound for one of these too today. Very interested in using this amp with my ZMF Aeolus and LCD2’s.

Nice, AR REF 75SE. Enjoy

Not the SE but even the NonSE can take the KT150 upgrade so basically if i throw the kt150’s into the nonSE i get 90% of the upgrade for a fraction of the cost. I emailed Audio research and they said putting the 150’s into the nonSE is perfectly fine. Huge transformers in these amps!

LOL - I resemble this remark!

I have 2 things left on my list and then I’ll be done… or at least that’s what I’ve told the wife!

A few suggestions from someone who started building Heath Kits as a wee lad. The BH instructions are very good but print them out so that you can check each step off as you go. Pay attention to the “attach” and “attach then solder” instructions. I would go so far as to highlight the word “solder” so that it stands out. Everything makes sense when you are finished. I just finished my first BHC/SB build this afternoon. I’m very happy with it. -Tom

Thanks for the advice. Yeah I’ll definitely print it out. I’m old school like that… I guess you’d call that old school these days lol.

I friend of mine has a non se model with KT150’s and it just sounds awesome paired with a ARC Ref 6, and JBL 4345 speakers. That’s one of the “I wish” amps I would like to acquire, of course I have a lot of those "I wish " gear items One is a BAT - VK-52SE , one day

That’s a great line from the Se7en movie with Pitt > i read that line and scene was actually an accident and there was a different ending. But it made it in.
